Between January and March, the Office for National Statistics revealed the economy grew by 0.7%. Moreover, recent reports have shown that the UK economy is expected to recover further in Q2, despite a disappointingly stagnant April, according to analysts at Capital Economics.

On July 4^th, the UK voted overwhelming for the Labour Party, booting out the Conservative Party following 14 years of power. As the new Labour government settles in with a thumping majority and clear mandate, it remains to be seen if the UK economy will continue to recover.
